Integrated Textile Quality Control & Standards
Every roll of PT Kesmatex fabric is produced through rigorous inspection in Pekalongan to ensure robust fabric structure, colorfastness, minimal shrinkage, and immediate cutting readiness for garment and apparel makers.
6 Textile Quality Control Stages
Every production lot undergoes 6 direct inspection stages to guarantee uniform density, wash durability, and clean, defect-free fabric before delivery.
01. Raw Yarn Selection
Thorough inspection of tensile strength and yarn smoothness for cotton and rayon to ensure even weaving and prevent yarn breakage.
02. Weaving Loom Setup & Calibration
Precise tension adjustment of warp and weft yarns to ensure uniform fabric density from the beginning of the roll to the end.
03. Live Weaving Process Supervision
Hands-on monitoring by experienced technicians to ensure no skipped yarns or weaving flaws occur during production.
04. Inspection Table Verification
Every meter of fabric is checked individually under illuminated inspection tables to separate defective fabric and ensure only clean Grade A fabric passes.
05. Wash & Shrinkage Testing
Testing to verify sanforized fabric stability (minimal shrinkage) and long-lasting, vibrant color retention.
06. Packaging & Quality Assurance
Fabrics are neatly rolled with honest, precise yardage measurement, securely wrapped, and prepared for safe dispatch to partners nationwide.
Standardized Physical & Chemical Testing
Our in-house testing lab is equipped with calibrated testing apparatus to certify fabric physical integrity, yarn density, and chemical safety standards.
Verification of yarn tenacity and fabric tear resistance using calibrated tensometers.
Colorfastness testing to wash, dry/wet crocking, and perspiration to ensure lasting vibrancy.
Shrinkage rate verification ensuring fabric maintains dimensions after repeated washes.
Microscopic optical counting of warp ends and weft picks per square inch.
Grade A Fabric Defect Evaluation Standard
Meticulous visual examination to classify and record fabric defect scores per 100 square yards before rolls are approved for dispatch:
